Shallow cold front sweeping through the Tasman sea, heralding an easterly onshore flow into Goulburn and Canberra overnight with moisture and low cloud resulting.
Tasmania in a westerly flow regime, so showers and cloud sticking to over and west of the ranges, some escaping through to the east.

Corresponding to the synoptic description above cloud along the east coast NSW with the onshore flow.
Mid-level banner cloud extends from the mountains of central Tasmania, to the southeast as a result of the passage of some moist mid-level air. This air is likely to move northeast, and not cause such a significant banner tomorrow (Monday).

Some ACAS cloud about western Tasmania and Bass Strait, possibly remnants of Sunday's moisture and banner cloud over Tasmania.
The High level SIGWx prog for 00Z tomorrow has the jet max of 140 knots at FL380 running west to east over central Australia. (see FL390 Wind chart below)
5000 ft Wind forecast Monday 1 pm (AEDT)

Wind at 5000 feet, westerly 30-40 knots over southern Tasmania. Mount Wellington elevation 4200 ft, and Mt Field to NW of Hobart, and others over central plateau and southwest with similar height range, therefore likely moderate turbulence in the vicinity of Hobart Airport resulting from ranges to the west/ northwest.
